I actively contribute to the information systems academic community through extensive peer review and professional engagement. I have been or am currently a reviewer for numerous academic journals, including the Strategic Management Journal, Information and Management Journal, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology Case and Application Research, Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, and the Data Base for Advances in Information Systems.

I also participate in major information systems conferences and workshops having formerly or currently reviewed for the Academy of Management (AOM) Conference, International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), Hawaii International Conference on Information Systems (HICSS), and the Southern Association for Information Systems (SAIS). Among other roles, I have also dedicated time to mentoring students, having guided aspiring young scholars through the Auburn Undergraduate Research Fellowship program three times and the Research Horizons competition at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where my mentee placed first. I maintain active memberships in several professional organizations, including the Academy of Management (AOM), the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), and the Association for Information Systems (AIS).

Outside of academia, I occasionally volunteer my skills within the communities that I am a member of, including engaging in digital literacy training and providing my labor for social good initiatives.
